The Gonzales Economic Development Corporation board assisted local businesses during the unprecedented COVID-19 Pandemic by implementing a COVID-19 Business Grant Program. Part of the mission of the GEDC is job retention and the grant was made available to assist local business partners and their workforce. The GEDC distributed $448,600.00 to 90 approved applicants that assisted local businesses that have certainly endured an economic strain during this difficult time.
